Kusadama flowers for the banner
You have probably all seen the tree in the banner of this site, and I thought you might be interested to see how I made the flowers used for the tree. They are called Kusadama flowers and you can find a tutorial with photos on The peace of paper.
For the tree I used papers that were only 45mm x 45mm otherwise the tree would have ended up being huge! They are very easy to make but I do recommend using a fast drying glue, so you don’t spend ages waiting for the glue to dry for every single petal.
Here you can see how tiny they are:
The other thing I made were the leaves for the tree, I used the basic leaf from Oriland. The pieces of paper I used this time were only 30mm x 30mm.
