1000 Paper Cranes

I have just come back from our little family get-away to Australia’s very pretty Gold Coast  and found these 3 cranes for the 1000 paper cranes project in my inbox. I am delighted to have you helping me with my project ladies.

Crane 0011 was folded by Melanie from Sugarlemon she lives in Melbourne, Australia (love the pics of the kangaroos on your blog!) The crane is made from the inside of a security envelope and photographed in a nearby bushland reserve, which is a favourite peaceful place of Melanie.

Crane 0012 was folded by Evelyn from Die Farbe Ev  who lives in Germany. Here is what she says about her crane:

“My crane is fold out of a memo of my boss in which he asked me to look for his flowers during his absence. He is back now and the flowers are still alive ;-) . My crane is sitting in my butterfly-bush (buddleja) – the sweet smell of his beautiful flowers is involving the peace of our garden for me.”

Crane 0013 was folded by Kristel from vlijtig. If you visit her blog check out the lovely stamps she makes!! Here is what she says about her crane

“During my lunchbrake I always like to do something creative. This time I decided to make a crane for you. I used a print with the plan of a building (since I’m an architect). Pictures are taking in my office. One shows the crane on my computer, the other one shows my view from my workingspace.”

For more information on the 1000 Paper Cranes project have a look here. Or if you would like to see the cranes that have been folded so far go and have a look at the Flickr set.
