Photo kaleidocycle

Today we have another fun project for you to try with your photos. Foldplay has a great little application on their site – upload 4 photos and then print a cut and fold model to make your own personalized kaleidocycle: “moving paper sculptures that turn in an endless cycle”. Each photo is revealed in turn as you play with the model – clever!

I did one like these a few years ago. I loved it! It is just the feeling in your hands when you move it around that makes it special.

I just printed one out using four pictures of my toddler- one for each season! Lily in the snow, in the flowers, in the pool, and in the leaves. It turned out super cute and will be great “just because” gifts for grandparents and daddy’s desk!

Sorry to hear that; I just tried it and it still works for me! If you’re still having difficulty, contact the Foldplay site owners and ask for their help.
