Folding Trees Year in Review

This week marks the first birthday of Folding Trees! When we started a year ago, Eve and I had no idea how successful our little site would become. We’re so grateful to all of you for checking in every day to see what paper delights we have found for you!

Here’s a recap of our most popular original tutorials over the past year:

  1. Kusudama Ball (part 1 and part 2) by Evekusudama-single-ft
  2. Lucky Wishing Stars by June
  3. Tissue Paper Carnations by June
  4. Balloon Lights by EveFinished LV

Here’s our original mission statement:

Our aim with Folding Trees is to collect the best tutorials we have found on the net, inspire you by highlighting amazing paper creations from talented artists and crafters, and share our own paper crafts and tutorials.

We’ve written over 400 posts  in our first year, and hope we’ve succeeded in bringing our missions statement to life on this site. Of course, we’d like to do even better in future! If you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see more (or less) of at Folding Trees in the coming year and beyond, please leave us a comment or e-mail us.

We’re also looking for new tutorial/printable submissions, so please let us know if you have a great papercraft idea that you’d like to share with our viewers.

Looking forward to year 2 and more paper craft delights… We hope you’ll be a part of it!

June & Eve

Happy Blogiversary, and thank you for a year of consistently stellar posts! This is one of my very favorite blogs, and it’s because of the excellent curating you both do, and the amazing work you share. I look forward to many more bloggy-years!

Happy anniversary. This has become the site I turn to each morning before I sort thru my emails. I’m always eager to see what new artist or idea you’ll present today.
It’s your consistency of quality selections and attention to detail that set you apart.
Thanks for the fun site.
