I would like to know if you used 6″ x 6″ squares for each petal? Can I substitute for any size square like 4 x 4???

Nathalie, you could use any size paper – if you use smaller paper you’ll either end up with a smaller wreath, or need more flowers to cover the wreath. Either way, it would look lovely.

So, I tried making this, but I’m having trouble assembling all the flowers in a nice wreath form. Any tips? Is it sewn or glued? What are the geometrics behind this lovely piece of artwork?

You should hop over to the artist’s Flickr page (linked in our post) and ask her!

FINALLY! I got the first petal done.
The diagram is bit hard to follow and our awesome host added an extra step at the end to make their flower cooler (more sleek). I finally noticed that the final version of the “flower” in the diagram is slightly different than what we see pictured. I have decided to use a foam wreath, wrapped in ribbon, to help stabilize the wreath and make it easier to hang. Also, I am going to use different sized paper to create different sized flowers to fill in the spaces (using hot glue to secure) and end with a more robust wreath.

Does anyone have instructions on how to make these flowers? The page is no longer available. Thank you.
