About Folding Trees
Folding Trees is an international collaboration between Eve in Australia and June (planetjune) in Canada.
There is a huge variety of crafts that can be made from a humble piece of paper: origami, paper art, quilling, papercutting, recycled paper crafts - to name just a few.
Our aim with Folding Trees is to collect the best tutorials we have found on the net, inspire you by highlighting amazing paper creations from talented artists and crafters, and share our own paper crafts and tutorials.
So get comfortable and browse through all the categories – we hope you will leave feeling inspired. Don’t forget to stop by often, or sign up for our RSS feed.
If you know of a great tutorial we should feature, you want to share anything you’ve made with us, or you would like us to send you some link-love by featuring your work in one of our posts, please e-mail us at foldingtrees@gmail.com
And don’t forget the companions our Facebook fanpage and Folding Trees Flickr group - please join and share photos of all your crafty paper projects with us! We will be featuring some of your submissions on the site.

About June
Hello from one of your friendly admins. I’m June and I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and our cat Maui. I am a crochet pattern designer and all-round crafter, and you may know me already from my blog PlanetJune or the Crochet Along site.
From the finest tissue paper flowers to furniture formed from sturdy cardboard, paper is such a versatile crafting medium. Origami has always fascinated me, and I am hoping that this site will take me on a journey to find and try out more paper crafts. I hope that Eve and I will be able to share our passion for paper with you through Folding Trees!
About Eve
Hi Everybody,
Just a quick introduction from your other admin. My name is Eve and I live on the Gold Coast, Queensland of Australia with my husband and twin-boys Sam and Luke. During the day I work as a barista running a busy cafe and coffee roastery called Quest Coffee Roasters.
Some of you might know me from Craft Tutorials, the Crochet Along or some of the other many projects I have been involved in. To all of you welcome it is lovely you are stopping by.
For me, one of the main reasons to start Folding Trees together with June is my love to explore new media, and share with others exciting new ideas that are available around the net.
Paper is one of the materials that is always available to most of us and one of the media I always come back to, drawn to it by its simplicty but also its very fragile nature.
