Ariadne at Home is a Dutch magazine sharing PDF templates for 4 different garlands for kids birthday parties. To access the templates, scroll through the projects to Slingers en Zakjes September 08. Click the photo and a summary (in Dutch) will appear at the top of the page. Click “lees verder” to get to the garland templates. There are also some templates listed for matching goodie bags.

One Pearl Button has a really simple clever method to jazz up a cheap ballpoint pen with pretty paper. This would be a great way to reuse old wrapping paper!

Join the Folding Trees Flickr group and add photos of any paper projects you’ve made - they don’t have to be related to ideas we have featured. And we might even showcase your work in the next Readers’ Pics roundup!

It’s great to see more of you have been uploading your photos to the group. This week, Eve’s kusudama tutorial has been hugely popular, and we’re already seeing some gorgeous kusudama in the pool.
